‘Introduction to Letter-Carving'

Saturday 12 June 2008 or Sunday 13 June

Tutor: John Shaw, letter carver and calligrapher. 

An introduction to lettering through drawing and practical demonstrations

‘Reading the Landscape through Words & Images’

Saturday 18 October 2008

Tutors: Derek Shiel, assisted by Esther de Vaal. 

Participants will have the opportunity of either writing about or painting the stunning views where the arts centre is situated, following presentations by Esther and Derek on the significance of this border landscape. £30 p.p. includes lunch and instruction.  Download a registration form here.
